Schedule: M-F / Regular business hours

Location: We are based in Dallas, TX and are looking for someone who resides in the Dallas or surrounding areas. This position is mostly remote, but will need to come into the office for company meeting and trainings occasionally.

Who You Are:

We are looking for someone who thrives working in a start-up environment and understands how important taking care of our customers & internal team members is to success! The technical requirements for this position are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English or similar degree preferred, or similar experience in lieu of degree
  • Have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Are well organized and always meet deadlines
  • Have several years (2+) of experience in social media marketing
  • Have several years (2+) of experience in lead generation/funnel marketing
  • Have several years (2+) of experience in project management
  • Have experience with marketing automation tools
  • Have a working understanding of popular editing/design software
  • Have working experience with project management software such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello, etc.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check specific to the position applied for.

What You’ll Do:

As Content Manager, you’ll lead our creative team to ensure that we are consistently publishing top-quality blog, social, website, and support content, and write engaging social media and newsletter copy. You will analyze social media analytics and engagement levels and pivot as needed. This is a cross-functional role where you’ll get to work closely with the leadership team to execute content initiatives for a variety of teams. Duties include:

Manage our organic content program & write organic content

  • Work with SEO team to research and schedule topics
  • Oversee writers & content team
  • Write fun, upbeat, and creative copy for social media and GoHighLevel newsletters
  • Proofread and approve content before it goes live
  • Monitor social media analytics and make optimization decisions

Manage our Help Doc program

  • Manage the help content process
  • Oversee writers and content creators
  • Proofread and approve content before it goes live

Manage our Education Content program

  • Brainstorm and architect “How-To” content
  • Oversee content team
  • Review & approve content before it goes live

Manage others and lead the team

  • Scale our creative team’s reach and capacity while developing new processes for working with internal creative partners and external creative resources (agencies, contractors, etc.)
  • Understand business goals and collaborate with senior leadership to meet and exceed them
  • Serve as a coach and a leader, helping to develop the skills of your team so they are able to achieve their career goals
  • Work is performed remotely and is computer-based

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
