Content Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a Content Marketing Manager with an attention to detail (almost obsessive), strong communication skills, and a gift for transforming content about technology and engineering into something engaging and creative.

You’ll be working closely with the Director of Content Marketing to manage and execute a content strategy that drives brand awareness, thought leadership, demand generation, and engagement for our clients and engineering community. You will be responsible for managing the execution, creation, distribution, syndication, and measurement of content across multiple channels and departments (Demand, Talent, Product, Sales, Customer Success), as well as being an integral part of developing Andela’s voice and building our audience. 


  • Create and distribute various content (emails, website, e-books, videos, whitepapers, infographics, etc.) to support our inbound and brand goals for both Talent and Demand.
  • Own and manage the editorial calendar, as well as the end-to-end publishing process for Andela’s blog
  • Collaborate with Design to build visual assets, like blog banners, webpages, landing pages, emails, and more.
  • Support the Sales and Customer teams by managing and updating our internal content library
  • Manage a network of freelance writers; edit and publish all output.
  • Manage Andela’s social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram) for organic efforts. Gather competitive intelligence.
  • Drive organic traffic through SEO strategy and best practices.
  • Help build Andela’s voice and tone and drive consistency across different channels and mediums
  • Track and measure website and social media performance, and report results.

Desired skills:

  • 3+ years experience in content marketing, preferably for a B2B technology company or a talent marketplace. 
  • Strong written communication skills, preferably with experience writing for highly technical blogs or for the engineering audience.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to effectively prioritize.
  • Knowledge and skills around organic social strategy, as well as experience in social publishing platforms.
  • Obsessed with data, and making informed content decisions.
  • A self-starter, who is comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • You love em dashes — and have an opinion on oxford commas.
  • Proficiency in Google Docs and Google Analytics.
