About this Role:

DreamBox is seeking a savvy B2B (and B2C) Social Media Marketing Manager to create and manage our organic online social channel, our owned DreamBox Nation platform, and influencer strategies, to inspire our target audiences (e.g., District Administrators, Teachers, Principles) to drive demand generation for DreamBox. In addition, you’ll support customer advocacy and retention by driving engagement across our social touchpoints and increasing awareness and stickiness with DreamBox Nation – our educator advocacy platform. This role will support business objectives ranging from brand, demand, and customer engagement/usage. This is a new position, and a highly visible role in the company. *This contract will last approximately 6+ months with the potential to convert to FTE in the future.

What You'll Be Doing:

·        Managing our Social Media channels to drive brand awareness, community engagement, and product usage, while supercharging DreamBox customer advocacy to attract new business and retain existing
·        Defining all organic social channel community strategies to drive marketing outcomes and deliver incredible experiences to our customers and prospects
·        Rethinking and re-envisioning our owned DreamBox Nation platform
·        Developing all social assets from copy to creative
·        Having an “investigative” curiosity to uncover strong customer advocates that can be leveraged and building those relationships
·        Driving awareness and usage of DreamBox Nation by engaging current customers
·        Providing big picture thinking across PR, social and digital to connect the dots and drive maximum exposure and results
·        Collaborating with teams within marketing, customer success, and sales to build plans and campaigns that support the end-to-end customer experience
·        Staying current with the latest digital technologies, social media trends and audience preferences and incorporating into strategies and programs
·        Maintaining a tracking and reporting system to ensure metrics are documented, well understood, and achieved
·        Develop strategies for the growth and engagement of our B2B (and B2C) Social Media channels – Facebook/Instagram, Linked In, Twitter (Twitter Chats) & YouTube 
·        Develop strategic plans for garnering DreamBox Influencers to help drive business growth and visibility; build and launch Influencer campaigns from the ground up
·        Collaborate with teams across DreamBox – customer marketing, sales, product and customer success - to create amazing online experiences for our customers and prospects
·        Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily; own creative specs & best practices across social channels; draft channel-specific copy and work with graphic designer on social graphics
·        Own flawless execution of end to end organic efforts across all our social channels
·        Develop new strategy for and manage DreamBox Nation so it’s a destination educator want to come back to time and again
·        Organic posting and monitoring with social tools like Hootsuite or Oktopost
·        Evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, tools, opportunities
·        Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to build bridges with internal teams, external partners, and vendors
·        Create monthly social media plans aligned to larger marketing strategy, campaigns, and buyer cycle
·        Set quarterly KPIs and create weekly reports on performance and growth
·        Ensure social channels are being promoted internally and externally and encourage DreamBox employees to share and engage
·        Work with other departments to procure or create new video content and activities for sharing on social

About You:

·        Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
·        Experienced leader with 8+ years proven success building and managing social marketing communities and strategies, as well as a community of brand advocates or ambassadors, and garnering influencers to drive growth
·        Demonstrated ability to grow social channel followship and engagement
·        Experience using social listening and Influencer tools (e.g., Impact, Tagger, Upfluence, Captiv8)
·        Deep knowledge of analytics available on all social platforms and the ability to pull actionable insights out of the data to inform strategic decisions
·        Attention to detail to ensure flawless execution across social channels, including acute attention to creative accuracy and QA prior to deployment
·        Functional experience includes marketing campaign management, performance analysis and optimization, social strategy development, vendor management, tracking, and reporting
·        Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint, Excel & Teams, project software like Smartsheet and collaboration tools like Slack.  Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, and Confluence a plus
·        A clear passion for the prospect and customer alike, driven by insights to create and deliver engaging campaigns and experiences
·        Collaborates effectively in cross-functional team environments, while having the ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
·        Excited by the challenges that come with a rapidly growing and scaling company
·        Ability to stay highly organized and efficient in a fast-paced work environment
·        Not afraid to stretch yourself outside of your comfort zone to take on new challenges, with a love for continuous learning
·        Experience managing budgets
