Coiled connects data scientists and researchers to distributed infrastructure using the Python data science stack (Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, etc) and Dask, a popular open source library for parallel analytics. We come from the open source Python community, and are long-time maintainers of this stack in general and Dask in particular. We’re building a product that enables organizations and enterprises to collaborate better using Dask by solving the setup, scaling and security challenges of the standard open source Python stack.

Through Dask, we enable analysts and scientists to understand the effects of climate change, fight cancer, and play the stock market. We have a wide range of customers solving these problems who need to deploy Dask throughout their organization to enable data science teams. This is a challenging task, and doing it well requires attention to user experience, and building distributed infrastructure which is robust, secure, and observable.

As the Digital Marketing Manager at Coiled, you’ll get to do more than drive traffic to our website. You’ll showcase your ability to lead by helping to build our marketing team and lay the foundation for a digital marketing strategy to propel the adoption and sales of our SaaS MLOps platform. 

Digital marketing strategies are extremely important for our company's success, so your role will play a crucial role in achieving our business goals and objectives. We are expecting you to have experience and a passion for digital technologies and utilizing different digital marketing channels.

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Digital Marketing Manager with a track record in building and managing digital marketing at scale. In this position, you will be responsible for setting up, implementing and managing the overall company's digital marketing strategy. Your key goals are to help grow our brand’s awareness and drive demand. 

Your duties will include planning, implementing, and monitoring our digital advertising and marketing campaigns across all digital networks. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in marketing, demand generation, and social media management. In addition to being an outstanding communicator, you will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.


    • Design, build, grow, and oversee all aspects of our digital marketing including digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, and display advertising. Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.
    • Work with your team to brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies. Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels. Identify the latest trends and technologies impacting our industry. Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests. Coordinate with advertising and media experts to improve marketing results.
    • Ensure brand consistency across all digital marketing channels.
    • Develop and monitor campaign budgets. Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
    • Evaluate and optimize important metrics that affect our website traffic, adoption and revenue targets, and target audience. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
    • Collaborate with the marketing operations to create landing pages and optimize user experience. Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
    • Manage fast-changing priorities in a dynamic environment to deliver the most impactful solutions to business stakeholders. Take direction, coaching, and adapt to a changing environment with agility.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or relevant field.
    • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a digital marketing position.
    • Hands on experience with Hubspot, SEO/SEM, and Google Analytics Experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
    • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.
    • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or display advertising campaigns.
    • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
    • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
    • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools.
    • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines.
    • Excellent analytical abilities.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing.
