Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Director, Internal Events to be a key leader in driving large scale and important internal events and an internal events' strategy for Twilio.  We are looking for a creative and hands-on leader who thrives in a  dynamic and fast paced environment. The person will lead the strategy for Global Internal events such as Company Kickoff, and will set the bar for how we manage 200+ person internal events for Twilions. 


Twilio is looking for a leader who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of delivering amazing employee experiences in person and virtually global, as well as amazing cross functional leadership skills, and experience building a team of Event Managers who support the internal business asks. They also have:

  • 10+ years experience leading Internal Events such as Company Kick Offs, Sales Clubs, Internal Leadership Summits, and Advisory Boards.
  • Deep expertise in a mix of virtual/online/in-person experiences 
  • Passion for data and metrics to drive business decisions
  • Experience with leading across organizations to drive joint vision and business planning from vision/strategy to execution. 
  • Highly effective in building and managing teams; as a plus, has direct experience managing remote teams 
  • Technically-savvy and experience with the cloud, APIs, communications, enterprise software, devices, and mobility is a plus
  • Experience with developer marketing a plus 
  • Prior experience with Marketing organizations and all types of field marketing activities as well as digital marketing is a plus!
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 


Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $132,928 - $182,776

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $124,620 - $171,352

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
