About Us
dbt Labs was founded in 2016 to empower analysts to create and disseminate organizational knowledge. Since then, we’ve grown to become one of the most respected brands in the analytics industry. Our product, dbt, is used by thousands of companies.

The Revenue marketing team is the pipeline-oriented arm of our marketing engine which operates to help us unlock predictable channels for revenue growth that are easily repeated across markets we enter. In this role, you will be the founding growth marketer responsible for highly impactful and foundational work. You will help drive the vision and execution of our pipeline campaigns at dbt Labs including the planning, launch and management of virtual events, email campaigns, content launches, and more. Collaborating across Product Marketing, Content Marketing, Operations, and Sales teams you will develop messaging and define processes that deliver rich, personalized experiences across the lead to customer funnel. You will also own the strategy to integrate these efforts across paid media, email marketing, website traffic, and sales follow-up.

Who we are
At dbt Labs, we have developed strong opinions on how companies should practice analytics.

Specifically, we believe that:
--Code, not graphical user interfaces, is the best abstraction to express complex analytic logic
--Data analysts should adopt similar practices and tools to software developers
--Critical analytics infrastructure should be controlled by its users as open-source software
--Analytic code itself — not just analytics tools — will increasingly be open source

It turns out that a lot of other people believe this too! Over the course of the past several years we've built a community of 9,000+ people and 3,000 companies who are using our ideas, products, and workflows to conduct analytics, including Lyft, Monzo, GitLab, Snowflake, the ACLU, Amazon, JetBlue, and RentTheRunway. Our product, dbt (https://www.getdbt.com/), has come to be synonymous with the practice of analytics engineering, defining an entire industry.

In this role you can expect to:

    • Lead the build out of the campaign operations function at dbt labs including building templates and playbooks for field and growth marketers to replicate.
    • Plan, design and execute prospect and alliance partner campaigns to drive brand awareness, lead generation and pipeline growth globally. This includes writing messaging and creative briefs.
    • Drive cross-functional planning and execution on campaign program deliverables across design, content, engineering, product and field marketing teams.
    • Collaborate with the Acquisition Marketing team to integrate campaigns into getdbt.com and help define website experiences that improve engagement and conversion rates of campaigns.
    • Manage our marketable database including segmentations and growth activities.
    • Measure and analyze the impact of campaign activities on pipeline, revenue and funnel velocity and monitor leading indicators like database growth, campaign engagement, and unsubscribe rates.
    • Maintain a data-first approach to testing messages and tactics to continuously improve conversion rates and ROI that can be replicated across other marketing initiatives.

You are a good fit if you:

    • Have 3-5 years of hands on campaign development and execution in a B2B marketing environment, preferably to enterprise personas
    • Experience configuring campaigns and events in Hubspot, Marketo, or Pardot and connecting their data to Salesforce
    • Are a master project manager especially keeping multiple work streams and teams in sync around timelines (our project management tool of choice is Asana)
    • Are an excellent copywriter with the ability to adopt company tone while keeping an ear on language that converts

You'll have an edge if:

    • Experience managing small teams in a high growth environment
    • Prior exposure to or marketing to dbt personas, developer communities, Analytics Engineering, open source, or similar
    • Experience developing and executing ABM frameworks
