UserTesting is seeking an experienced Global Marketing Analytics Manager, Demand to support our fast-growing Demand Generation team. This is a highly cross-functional role, exploring both structured and unstructured marketing performance data. You will help accelerate marketing activity by analyzing what is working and what is not, creating actionable feedback for the demand generation team. Drive the end-to-end analytics workflow, including defining success, implementing data requirements, conducting analysis, generating insights and hypotheses, monitoring performance metrics, and socializing them across the marketing organization. This role has the opportunity to shape our growth marketing mindset as a valuable and critical member of the Demand Generation team.

 

This role will also be responsible for creating and maintaining a predictable demand generation engine for all segments and regions within the organization. Utilizing historical performance and conversion data, you will work closely with the Demand Generation and Corporate Marketing teams to build, maintain, and report on a model that accurately projects all website, program, campaign, and event performance to ensure that we have enough coverage throughout the lead funnel to exceed our lofty pipeline and revenue targets.

 

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience working on a Demand Generation team in a similar role at a fast growing B2B hi-tech or SaaS company.  This position will report to the Director of Marketing Operations.

 

As the Global Marketing Analytics Manager, Demand at UserTesting, you'll be responsible for:

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Ensure that correct data attributes such as lead source, campaigns, and campaign/program statuses are captured correctly
  • Translate business level KPIs into specific and measurable goals and processes
  • Analyze our marketing and sales funnel to develop insights and make recommendations to the demand generation team on areas for optimization
  • Create, maintain, and report on key demand generation campaign and sales performance metrics and their impact on demand generation influenced revenue goals
  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards to show the effectiveness of demand generation campaigns and programs
  • Proactively explore marketing automation, analytics, and CRM data to find trends for the demand generation team



Addition Responsibilities

  • Work with the broader Marketing Operations team to build lists and segmentations for the demand generation team
  • Monitor, measure, and analyze demand generation campaigns to optimize performance based on best practices
  • Partner with the broader Marketing Operations team to monitor demand generation lead flow from Marketo to Salesforce to ensure Inquiries and MQLs get in front of the sales team
  • Assist with the QA of demand generation Marketo programs and tasks within our bi-weekly JIRA sprint board.
  • Document relevant marketing operations processes in Confluence on an ongoing basis.

  • Demonstrated cross-functional communication and relationship building skills
  • Able to transform data and present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders
  • A strong planner with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively communicate key findings with the marketing leadership team
  • Highly analytical and capable of extracting business insights from data
  • Highly organized with exceptional time management skills
  • Strong data analysis background with a passion for continuously improving processes
  • Agility and speed in decision making with comfort taking an iterative approach
  • Advocate for diversity and inclusion



Required Education and Experience

  • B.A. or B.S. in Business Administration, Business Information Systems Computer Information Systems, or relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years experience working on or with a Demand Generation Team
  • At least 3 years of specific  experience in an analytically driven role
  • One to two years’ experience in a highly cross functional or client facing role (consulting, professional services, etc.)
  • Experience analyzing multi-channel marketing effectiveness
  • Marketo Administrative experience for a fast growing hi-tech or SasS company.
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and Marketo
  • Experience achieving growth by scale (increasing revenue without incurring significant costs) at a fast growing hi-tech or SaaS company. 

Bonus Points

  • Experience working with an international team
  • Experience with multi-touch marketing attribution modeling
  • Experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools (i.e., Periscope, Tableau, Snowflake, Redshift)
  • Knowledge of SaaS industry issues, trends, and business models essential
  • Working knowledge of marketing metrics such as CPM, CPC, ROAS
