About the Role: 

As the Lifecycle Marketing Senior Specialist, you’ll focus on the execution and optimization of our lifecycle marketing channels. Reporting to the Senior Director, Lifecycle Marketing and Retention, you’ll blend content optimization, audience targeting, and execution tactics to maximize the effectiveness of our customer communications around retention, acquisition, and AOV. Day-to-day tasks include management of email, sms and direct mail campaigns, working cross-functionally with design, product and analytics to create new user journeys, reporting on campaign performance, and using data to make optimizations to existing campaigns.

In this role, you’ll be managing the critical details of the email and SMS channel for Imperfect Foods. This role is part of a high-performing, data-driven marketing organization which values teamwork and collaboration. We’re excited to have you ensure lifecycle marketing is one of our most highly effective acquisition and retention channels.

Responsibilities:

    • Manage lifecycle marketing campaigns across email, sms and direct mail.
    • Own and report on campaign and segment performance and share insights/learnings with the larger team.
    • Develop and execute ongoing A/B and multivariate tests to drive incremental business growth.
    • Analyze campaign data and make recommendations for new strategies and opportunities for improvement.
    • Perform regular analyses related to cohort behaviors and customer insights.
    • Work cross-functionally with teams inside and outside of marketing to create and optimize compelling user journeys.
    • Build and maintain documentation around best practices, lifecycle campaigns, test results, and processes.

Skills and Qualifications:

    • 3-5 years lifecycle marketing experience, with hands on experience building and deploying campaigns (email, sms, direct mail, push)
    • Technical skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS, and SQL
    • Experience with cross channel customer engagement platforms - Iterable a plus
    • Ability to think creatively and constantly test new ideas
    • Proven ability to work cross functionally with creative and product teams
    • Experience with multi-variate testing and measuring results
    • Experience with implementing and deploying retention strategies (loyalty, referrals, incentives, etc) a plus
    • Strong organizational skills with an exceptional attention to detail

Details of Position:

    • Full-time/ Exempt position reporting to the Senior Director, Lifecycle & Retention Mktg.
    • Candidate can be remotely located within US time zones

Physical Requirements:

    • Sedentary work; involves sitting most of the time

How we are protecting employees from COVID-19

At Imperfect Foods, employee health and safety is our top priority. We have implemented processes and precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in our facilities. We provide gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer to all essential employees who must report to work. Before entering our warehouse, employees have their temperatures checked. In addition, we take great care to ensure frequently touched surfaces are sanitized throughout the day and all warehouses are fully sanitized weekly.

We have also implemented an Emergency Sick Leave policy providing full-time and part-time employees 2 additional weeks of paid time off and up to 26 weeks paid leave if they have a confirmed case of COVID-19.
