Organic Social Media is a critical area component of the marketing mix as it drives unpaid revenue and boosts operational leverage. As we continue build on the eCommerce success Tuft & Needle has experienced and develop the foundational infrastructure that will allows Serta, Simmons and Beautyrest to scale their eCommerce business; it will be critical that we operate a strong Organic Social Media function that delivers engaging content that tells each brand’s story in a way that results in a growing social following, increased engagement and purchase conversion. 

The Manager, Organic Social Media drives the overall organic social strategy for our portfolio of brands. The role will be responsible for taking the brand, campaign and editorial strategies for each brand and turning them into an immersive and engaging experience across our social handles. They will also be responsible for bring creative and innovative ideas forward that will increase our reach, engagement, and unpaid conversion through our social handles.


    • Manage overall social content strategy across portfolio of DTC brands (Tuft & Needle, Serta, Simmons & Beautyrest)
    • Manage/oversee development of social content calendars including scheduling posts
    • Manage boosted post strategy in accordance with organic social KPIs
    • Manage larger UGC strategy including expanded use of Curalate tool
    • Responsible for evaluating and optimizing internal processes for strategic planning, creative development, post scheduling, community management and analytics/reporting
    • Responsible for developing organic social reporting based on established KPIs for all four brands
    • Responsible for bringing long-term strategic thinking and innovation ideas that will drive core KPIs
    • Work with creative team to develop editorial strategy for Serta, Simmons and Beautyrest brands that aligns with current brand strategies
    • Work directly with Tuft & Needle owned-channel managers (email and blog) on integrated communications plan
    • Manage organic social team including coaching, mentorship, development, and execution of performance reviews
    • Collaborate with paid media channel leads and influencer leads on integrated campaigns


    • BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, or equivalent creative function
    • Working knowledge of Organic Social campaign tool – Sprout Social
    • Experience developing editorial and/or social content strategies and communications calendars
    • 5+ years experience in Organic Social Media marketing
    • Excellent verbal and written communication in English including experience presenting to senior leadership teams
    • Strong attention to detail
