Manager, Performance Marketing

We’re searching for a Manager, Performance Marketing to help build, scale and lead user acquisition at Vidyard. You will hire, coach and lead a team of performance marketers across digital and non-digital channels including paid search, display, video, affiliate and social. You will be responsible for deploying a significant portion of our marketing budget to accelerate growth. 

Vidyard has successfully moved to a Remote First operating model. So whether you are located close to one of our collaboration spaces in Kitchener, ON and Vancouver, BC, or if home is anywhere else in North America, you will be an integral part of the team.

What you’ll do

  • Hire, coach and lead a growing team of in-house performance marketers in deploying a multi-million dollar budget across paid marketing channels including paid search, display, video, affiliate and social
  • Own decisioning on where we deploy capital to drive awareness and user acquisition efforts 
  • Develop and maintain an experimentation roadmap to optimize existing channels, campaigns and target audiences
  • Uncover new, untapped digital and non-digital channels to drive brand awareness and acquisition
  • Collaborate closely with product, marketing, and sales leadership to ensure acquisition efforts are effectively fuelling user activation, retention, monetization and growth loops 
  • Develop, maintain and monitor key metrics that provide confidence in marketing spend against awareness and user acquisition goals 

What we’re looking for 

  • Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success as a performance marketing leader within both a B2B SaaS and B2C organization 
  • Minimum of 5 years of overall performance marketing experience, ideally at a SaaS company 
  • High proficiency with data and a deep understanding of a/b testing frameworks, revenue funnel analytics, marketing attribution,  growth loops and product metrics 
  • Deep understanding of all major paid channels including paid search, display, video and social 
  • Experience managing and deploying monthly budgets north of a $ million and scaling spend by 100% year-over-year
  • Demonstrated experience guiding teams of designers, web developers and data analysts 

Bonus points for

  • Experience working at product-led growth company with a freemium or free trial business model 
  • Ability to write SQL
