Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking an experienced Content Writer to join a world-class team of marketers responsible for attracting and engaging top talent worldwide. The person in this role will have a proven track record for creating compelling copy for various channels, including social media, web, blogs, emails, newsletters and so much more. This writer will work collaboratively with the Global Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing team to develop culture-focused content for our candidate marketing channels and ensure a consistent, inclusive brand voice that aligns with our employer value proposition. 

Reporting to the Director of Global Employer Brand & Recruitment Marketing, this person will play a critical role in growing our employer brand and attracting talent through authentic storytelling, content development, and creative copy. Twilio is looking for a creative and passionate storyteller to collaborate with internal stakeholders to transform strategy and messaging into engaging content that resonates with our candidates. The ideal candidate is an experienced writer with a strong understanding of writing best practices and is able to write content that captures attention, engages readers, and inspires action.

You will help build, communicate, and grow Twilio's employer brand through storytelling. This is a highly collaborative role requiring strong partnership across Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience, Diversity, and Brand teams.  You will work cross-functionally to produce highly engaging content that will help our candidates understand the Twilio Magic. Lastly, we’re looking for someone who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of producing highly engaging content that delivers business impact. They also have:

 

  • 5+ years of professional experience providing writing support for a Sales or Talent Acquisition organization.
  • Experience partnering with Marketing, Brand, Talent Acquisition, and Diversity teams to develop content to support different programs and business initiatives.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills; able to tailor content to established brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, consistently demonstrating a high degree of professionalism. 
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills; able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. 
  • Ability to work effectively and proactively, both independently and as part of a team.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Tier 4 Salary Range: $74,944 - $103,048

Rest of Colorado:

Tier 5 Salary Range: $65,576 - $90,167

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
