Binti’s mission is to increase equality of opportunity and help every person have a fair chance at life.  With over 400,000 youth in foster care in the United States, we are reinventing child welfare through technology to help every child find a safe, loving, and stable family. We partner with state, county and private foster care agencies around the country, helping them recruit and approve foster parents more quickly and empowering social workers by eliminating administrative paperwork. Our software also helps match families with children and helps track services to biological families to get on their feet and reunify with their children. Binti currently works with over 140 foster care agencies across 22 states. Rhode Island, New Mexico, Hawaii and Washington have signed on to make our software their statewide solution. 

Our goal is to be the end-to-end modular child welfare data system solution. Our Approvals and Placements modules are widely used and have significantly improved outcomes.  Agencies working with us have approved 80% more families on average in their first year of using Binti, with a 16% reduction in time to approve and 20-40% savings in social worker time. Our Case Management module is completing a pilot with our existing agencies and will be more widely available very soon. We are also expanding our team to further develop 3 additional modules.

The Role
The Marketing Lead at Binti is an integral part of our Business Development team. As the first marketing-specific hire for the company, You will be responsible for the development and implementation of Binti’s strategic marketing plan. This includes creating and executing strategies, tactics, and materials to reach Binti’s target addressable market of government and private agencies serving foster youth. In this role, you will have the opportunity for cross-functional collaboration to ensure we employ creative methods to engage customers and further position Binti as a thought leader in child welfare and human services technology.

Responsibilities

    • Strategy: Working collaboratively with the Business Development team, identify, refine and execute new strategies to engage child welfare and human services leadership. Further develop Binti’s standing as an innovator and thought leader, aligning messages with Binti’s mission and values. 
    • Content: Own content strategy, development, management and execution to drive acquisition, conversion, and upsells. Align Binti’s messaging across the entire company presence including web content, marketing materials, presentations, RFP responses, case studies, social media etc. 
    • Lead Generation: Design prospecting campaigns based on research, analysis and knowledge of the space in order to drive top-of-funnel demand.
    • Market Research: Collaborate with RevOps Lead on conducting in-depth market research and creating tools and training programs to enable the Business Development team to succeed in engaging customers.
    • Reporting & Analytics: Work closely with RevOps lead to develop and maintain marketing performance dashboards, KPIs, and metrics. Continuously monitor, analyze, and fine-tune reporting to improve digital marketing program success
    • Website: Partner across Binti (Design, RevOps) to enhance the UI/UX, content, and lead flow of the website.
    • Events: Identify Child Welfare conferences and other industry-related events for Binti to partake in. Submit conference proposals as necessary, and define pre- to post-event success metrics.
    • Advertising: Lead digital marketing and advertising efforts, including content, ad buys, sponsorships and other creative outlets.

Experience & Skills

    • Multiple years of progressively responsible experience in marketing, including development of content and strategy. 
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, results-driven, high growth environment.
    • Child welfare/foster care or other government and technology experience is strongly preferred. 
    • Strong team focus, and excellent collaboration skills to work within and across teams and with multiple different customers and stakeholders.  
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels of the organization, as well as to external customers and stakeholders. 
    • Ability to flexibly manage multiple projects at a time/ wear many hats in a fast-paced environment. 
    • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment 
    • Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturity.
