Your mission will be to take our partner program and the Balto brand to new heights by leveraging your expertise to create meaningful experiences that engage our partners and prospective customers.

So what does it take to fulfill this crucial role? 

Balto is looking for a driven and creative Partner & Event Marketing leader that will be instrumental in scaling our partner marketing and growth efforts. 

You’ll have the opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-growing team and take our rapidly growing partnership and growth marketing programs to the next level. You’ll also report directly to the VP of Marketing and will be able to contribute directly to the broader marketing strategy at Balto. 

This role is the right fit for you if you are excited about the opportunity to develop partner marketing programs that create value for partners and drive growth. You also think creatively and enjoy identifying new ways to engage partners and prospects through field marketing & events that go beyond the traditional webinar. 

What kinds of responsibilities might you take on? 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive partner marketing strategies that promote brand awareness and generate a pipeline.
  • Develop and manage a partner marketing strategy that can effectively scale to support 50+ partners while also providing more custom/individual support to our most strategic partners. 
  • Work with Partnership Managers to develop an intimate understanding of the businesses and strategic objectives of each partner & then align our partner marketing programs to support those objectives and Balto’s goals.
  • Manage go-to-market programs with partners to achieve target outcomes (i.e., brand awareness or co-selling into target accounts). Example program components include webinars, local events/seminars, sponsorships at partner conferences, content, etc.
  • Produce assets that attract prospective partners to the Balto partner ecosystem and inspire current partners to adopt, market, and sell Balto.
  • Increase Balto brand awareness within partner organizations to support demand generation and ensure consistent messaging and positioning across all partner programs.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of partner and event marketing efforts and demonstrate ROI.
  • Ensure all partner and event marketing efforts are tightly integrated with our demand gen, content marketing, and partnership efforts and aligned with our broader marketing strategy.

  • Experience in the development and execution of co-marketing campaigns - with a focus on consistency and scalability
  • Demonstrated ability to develop partner relationships and think creatively with partners
  • A genuine focus on collaboration that ensures your work is always aligned with your colleagues and contributes to our broader goals
  • You are a self-starter with a can-do attitude, a team player, and demonstrate a strong sense of ownership
  • You are highly creative and able to generate and execute against new ideas - you don’t rely on the same set of tools or the way things have always been done
  • You are process-driven, meticulously organized,  and rely on data to make decisions

Is Balto named after that Cartoon Dog?

Well, kind of - that cartoon dog was named after a real dog. Balto successfully guided his pack through a harrowing journey across Nome, Alaska, in 1925 to deliver medicine to the ice-locked town. We liked the metaphor: our technology guides people to be successful throughout their conversations, scouting ahead and providing helpful support. Like in 1925, a human is still in charge, but humans (and dogs) are always better off with a companion. 

Fun Fact - After his journey, Balto was recognized as a hero with a commemorative statue in Central Park. We’ve visited, and he looked like this.
