Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Principal Customer Marketing Manager. This pivotal role will focus on executive partner engagement, both internally and with C Suite and senior executives across our global customer base.The person in this role will craft the strategy for building executive and customer trust. They will launch and scale executive customer programs, aligning Twilio leadership with strategic accounts worldwide, establishing relationships with CxOs.

This position will partner with internal teams, building customer advocacy programs which grow brand awareness, influence and accelerate sales cycles. Your work will not only “help sales sell,” but will also advance Twilio’s reputation!

You will lead on sourcing and helping to prepare our CxO customers for center stage roles at Twilio’s user and developer conference SIGNAL, Twilio Company Kick Off, strategic third party and industry events, and Twilio’s global event roadshow.


Twilio is looking for a marketing leader who has a proven track record of working with multiple partners to produce high-quality content. They should have:

  • 6+ years’ experience in customer facing roles across Go-To-Market;
  • 2+ years in a customer marketing role building trust and advocacy with customers and partners alike
  • Strong program management skills with ability to prioritize and keep multiple partners aligned
  • Experience communicating and pitching to senior and executive partners
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 


Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $120,832 - $151,040

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $105,728 - $132,160

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
