We are looking for a positive and organized Program Manager as we grow and scale the Marketing team. You will be responsible for coordinating multiple projects throughout the entire lifecycle, from quarterly planning through technical and creative dependencies, launch, and post-launch analysis. With the rapid growth of Yelp’s Marketing organization, you will play an essential role in aligning various teams to prioritize, coordinate, communicate, and execute complex and effective marketing campaigns.

This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.

Where You Come In:

    • Coordinate multiple Marketing campaigns at a time, from initiation through execution across all channels.
    • Track and communicate plans and project status including milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, changes to scope, and launches with the team and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Define and facilitate the process for integrated Marketing projects to deliver on quarterly metrics and campaigns, identifying pain points, lessons, and seizing opportunities for improvements to minimize confusion and wasted efforts.
    • Proactively manage schedules, identify dependencies, anticipate and address issues before they become risks; present clear risk mitigation plans as needed.
    • Resolve conflicts, including working with teams both inside and outside of the Marketing organization.
    • Develop strong partnerships with Product Marketing, Channel Marketing, Creative, Product Management, and Sales Enablement teams and leaders to ensure delivery of the highest impact work through clear communication and collaboration.
    • Be accountable for quality: able to isolate where processes break down, where steps may have been skipped or where assumptions were made, coaching teams through troubleshooting, bug resolution, risk mitigation, and being an advocate for QA and post-launch retrospectives.
    • Communicate with Product Management and occasionally lead cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product launches that have downstream team dependencies such as Marketing, Sales Enablement, CS, and PR.

What it Takes to Succeed:

    • You have at least 7 years of work experience, including delivery of integrated channel and performance marketing campaigns; 3+ years of project, program, and/or marketing management.
    • You are a clear thinker and communicator who can document and create processes, clarify project next steps, anticipate and communicate risks, and articulate tradeoffs when decisions are needed to deliver against top priorities.
    • Experience managing (including project/program managing, coaching, motivating) marketing, creative, and technical teams to deliver high quality projects on time with minimal/no drama. 
    • Experience defining and communicating processes, addressing pain points with ongoing retrospectives and process improvements, recognizing when a process is working and ready to scale.
    • Positive and inclusive attitude, ability to encourage and manage cross-functional teams to focus on priorities, deliver to spec, respond to critical feedback, and collaborate effectively. 
    • Adaptive problem solver with demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity and drive change through an organization.
