Sourcegraph is looking for a dynamic, high-agency Demand Generation Program leader to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategy, planning, and activation of integrated marketing programs designed to engage an audience of developers and decision makers. The Demand Generation team partners with marketing and sales to increase awareness of Sourcegraph’s universal code search solutions and drive demand to hit pipeline and revenue goals. We do this with strategic, targeted, highly measurable online and offline programs.

This role is both strategic and tactical. You are a swiss army knife of marketing know-how with experience in go-to-market campaign development, omnichannel campaign strategy, event marketing, nurture programs, and hand-off to sales. The customer is at the center of what we do here so an appreciation for the developer audience and a mastery of ABM principles are essential to success in this role.  

Responsibilities:

    • Manage overarching program strategy - Collaborate with stakeholders from product marketing and sales to drive the execution and optimization of a full-funnel demand generation program strategy 
    • Define program requirements - Guide the mix of tactics (i.e. content syndication, webinars, email, direct mail, paid media, etc.) and CTAs used to meet our pipeline goals
    • Execute account based marketing programs - Partner with sales to create high touch marketing plans with the goal of building and accelerating pipeline within target accounts
    • Manage webinars and (virtual) events - Drive the execution of webinars and virtual events and build a strategy for future in-person events
    • Manage your budget - Determine investment needs and manage billing and forecasting for your programs
    • Be one with sales - Proactively engage SDRs and AEs to get feedback on our programs and optimize for maximum impact
    • Share results - Test, monitor, and report on your results, provide data-oriented insight, and give recommendations for improvement
    • Be a leader - Raise your hand, take responsibility, provide direction and guidance, encourage others, grow the company

Requirements

    • Demonstrable experience in B2B demand generation or field marketing organizations
    • Mastery of account based marketing concepts and tactics is essential
    • Familiarity tailoring campaigns to developers, technical influencers, and decision maker personas
    • Experience executing all aspects of in-person and virtual events, including webinar programs 
    • Deep understanding of all digital marketing channels
    • Skilled at vendor management and coordinating multiple deliverables across internal and external teams
    • Hands-on experience with Salesforce
    • Comfortable reporting on campaign efforts and impact with a diverse audience
    • Excited about working at an all-remote company

Nice-to-have

    • Hands-on experience with HubSpot or other marketing automation tools
    • Global marketing experience 
    • Leadership within a hyper-growth team

    • A passion for open source software
