The Marketing & Communications team is responsible for connecting the world to lifelong transformative learning. They also work to shape public conversations on the future of education and work. The team is segmented into four areas of focus: Consumer Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Brand & Creative, and Communications. The team is currently focused on expanding the reach of Coursera’s brand and bringing new learners to the site, connecting students to degree programs, attracting new enterprise customers — including businesses, governments, and campuses — and creating a marketing system that nurtures learners throughout their professional lives. 

Coursera’s Product Marketing team connects consumers, educators and enterprises with our world-class learning products, content and solutions. Product Marketers play a key role in finding product-market fit, bringing products to market and driving adoption. In this role, you’ll act as head of Product Marketing for Coursera’s educator audience. You’ll partner closely with product teams building educator and teaching experiences spanning Degrees & Certificates, Coursera Labs, Assessments, and many more. You’ll also play a critical role in ensuring Coursera is the most loved and valued learning platform for educators in support of the company’s growth and revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

    • Develop educator audience expertise and insights that shape our product strategy and roadmaps
    • Track relevant learning, skill development and edtech markets to inform opportunities and differentiation
    • Create and activate our core value propositions and product positioning for different educator segments
    • Drive the go-to-market strategy and execution of high impact product launches across a broad product portfolio
    • Create positioning and packaging of our learning products within our enterprise businesses
    • Shape the company’s vision and narrative for educators, partnering closely with Brand and Communications teams
    • Lead and support a team of star product marketers

Basic Qualifications:

    • 10+ years experience, 6+ years in product marketing
    • Demonstrated history developing and scaling innovative products
    • Experience leveraging data and audience insights to develop strategy
    • Demonstrated history of developing product marketing plans, launching products, designing, executing and tracking go-to-market campaigns
    • Experience partnering with product development teams
    • Experience building and leading high performing marketing teams

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in edtech or higher education
    • Experience working with global, enterprise SaaS products
