About the role:

Classy is looking for a Paid Marketing Manager to own Classy’s digital strategy across key channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Adwords. This individual will obsess over acquisition metrics optimizing paid spend, partner with leaders across the marketing team to develop strategies in support of key integrated initiatives, and work with Classy’s digital agency on the deployment of all media plans. 

What you’ll accomplish:

  • Oversee agency deployment of media plans across social, video, display and SEM advertising, providing guidance on targeting, spend targets, messaging strategy, learning plans and best practices
  • Coordinate and drive paid media efforts, including but not limited to budget management, timeline management, agency coordination/scheduling, and monthly reporting cadenc
  • Manage annual media buys and relationships with advertising vendors within the nonprofit/social sector space 
  • Work with leaders across the marketing team to develop paid media strategies supporting key integrated campaigns and product launches 
  • Own paid reporting end to end connecting channel metrics to business revenue; partner with Classy’s Lead SEO Marketing manager to align performance metrics with the larger marketing funnel 
  • Partner with Classy’s Lead SEO Marketing manager to optimize keyword strategy and targeting across SEM campaigns 
  • Partner with Classy’s internal design team and/or external partners to develop paid media assets; this includes copywriting for digital ads and sponsored emails 
  • Work with Classy’s digital agency to optimize paid campaign performance; ensure CPA targets are within range and lead quality is optimal 
  • Partner with segment leaders and operations to develop key target audiences; work to ensure these audiences are consistently refreshed and effectively leveraged across our paid campaigns 

What you bring (Required):

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 5 years experience in integrated marketing, digital/social marketing, media management with core experience in paid media advertising, and campaign development
  • Strong understanding of how to work with a paid agency driving ongoing success and holding 3rd parties to the highest standards 
  • Experience managing paid campaigns in-house for B2B SaaS companies and/or an advertising agency with B2B clients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, naturally collaborative with the ability to work across different levels of seniority and business functions
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly present ideas, updates and results to business partners on various levels
  • A creative eye. You’ll be an active participant in digital asset development. You have the ability to write digital ad content and partner with designers to bring these assets to life 
  • Exceptional understanding of the digital/social media landscape; well versed in recent data privacy laws and an opinion on how paid channels need to adapt and shift in the next 3-5 years 
  • Proficient in Excel

What would be awesome to have (Preferred):

  • 5 years paid media experience 
  • Strong experience managing paid social (Facebook & LinkedIn) and paid search campaigns 
  • Ability to map channel performance metrics to business ROI 
  • Strong understanding of the marketing funnel and ability to analyze diverse sets of data 
  • to develop insights
  • Experience developing paid strategies for integrated marketing campaigns 
  • Copy writing and creative asset development   
  • Experience working with publications on more traditional media buys (sponsored eblasts, blog posts, onsite display ads, etc.)
