This role will lead a new consumer/student focused team responsible for marketing ‘through’ and ‘with’ a wide variety of existing and in-development new partners -- ranging from large tech industry partners (e.g. Microsoft, Amazon/AWS, etc.), to nonprofits (e.g. Blacks in Technology Foundation) to government agencies (e.g. Ohio Workforce Development Board). In addition, this person will also work closely with their Manager (Head of Consumer Marketing/ Consumer GM) to identify, pitch and stand-up new Marketing Partnerships (e.g. Career/Job posting organizations, etc.).

You’ll work closely with both internal Udacity teams (including: CRM, Paid Media, SEO, Social Media, PR, Marketing Analytics, Brand, Creative, Finance, Content/Product, etc.) and our Partners to craft and execute global co-marketing programs that enable us to grow together. You’ll be responsible for working cross-functionally to drive programs forward, oversee timelines and execution, and instrument measurement to ensure programs are successful.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and launch scalable (i.e. global, multi-channel) co-marketing campaigns across our partner community to generate revenue, partner engagement and to position Udacity as a leader in the industry
  • Establish a clear scope-of-work, processes, KPIs, etc. for this new marketing team
  • Partner with our Web, Analytics, Live Agent and Engineering teams to stand-up and optimize the conversion funnel for each partner
  • Serve as the primary marketing POC (point-of-contact) for both internal Udacity Business Development and external Partner teams
  • Write marketing plans, creative briefs, etc. for each Partner campaign
  • Partner with Finance, Analytics and Manager to establish the Partner Marketing business/financials (e.g. establish marketing CPA allowables, optimize budget/spend to maintain profitability, etc.)
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Partner Marketers
  • Share campaign results with partners through post launch meetings and ongoing business reviews
  • As-needed assist Sales/Business Development teams in the pitching of new Udacity strategic partners

  • Established experience (6+ years) successfully developing the strategy and executing integrated ROI-driven campaigns -- with preferably Partnerships/Co-Marketing AND/OR Global experience
  • Strong Partner, Client or Customer management skills
  • Have implemented new processes that drive efficient outcomes
  • Deep expertise in marketing analytics (e.g. conversion rates, cost per lead, CPA, etc.)
  • Enthusiastic problem-solver who can think creatively and excel in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
