The Marketing & Communications team is responsible for connecting the world to lifelong transformative learning. They also work to shape public conversations on the future of education and work. The team is segmented into four areas of focus: Consumer Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Brand & Creative, and Communications. The team is currently focused on expanding the reach of Coursera’s brand and bringing new learners to the site, connecting students to degree programs, attracting new enterprise customers — including businesses, governments, and campuses — and creating a marketing system that nurtures learners throughout their professional lives.

We are looking for a sharp, passionate, customer-centric product marketer to help Coursera for Enterprise continue its rapid growth. Our team has the amazing opportunity to transform the lives of people around the world, from software engineers at the world’s top tech companies to government workers in developing countries who are learning new skills to help revitalize their economies. 

In this role, you will partner with product, sales, customer success, and marketing teams at Coursera to inform the creation of innovative, high-quality learning products that fit market needs. You will become an expert in understanding our customers and the market to develop our value proposition and inform the product roadmap and priorities.  You will partner the Enterprise Product organization to bring new features to market, working with the rest of the go-to-market teams to ensure our customers get these amazing products in their organization.

Responsibilities:

    • Drive go-to-market strategy and execution for new features and products to Coursera’s growing customer base in higher education
    • Be the expert in Coursera learning products and competing products in the higher education and workforce development space
    • Influence the product roadmap and prioritization by combining customer, market, and competitive insights into recommendations for how we can deliver more value
    • Create messaging, positioning and content for use in customer and marketing communications tailored to the vertical audiences
    • Develop sales materials including presentations, datasheets, etc. and be the subject matter expert for the field
    • Partner with Demand Marketing on GTM campaigns with compelling narratives and bring those campaigns to life across channels (Comms, PR, Web, Social, etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

    • 6+ years of experience in product marketing
    • Demonstrated history of direct experience working in the higher education market
    • Experience developing product marketing plans, launching products, designing, executing and tracking go-to-market campaigns
    • Demonstrated experience with messaging and storytelling skills
    • Background in synthesizing qualitative and quantitative insights into business recommendations

Preferred Qualifications:

    • Direct experience working with a SaaS product, enterprise sales organizations
    • Comfortable with a fast-paced culture, with the ability to learn quickly, think creatively and stay focused and organized while managing multiple priorities
    • An analytical approach and great problem-solving abilities
