Your role:

Gooten is seeking a creative, motivated and dynamic individual to coordinate, engage and scale our online community of existing and future eCommerce business partners.You will be working closely under the Senior Brand and Communications Manager and collaborate with and support the extended marketing team as required. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working autonomously and want to unleash their talents in a professional environment to create innovative content that will capture the attention and engage with external prospects online. 

This is a full-time position working remotely with opportunities for occasional in person team meetings. 

How you'll power eCommerce:

  • Enforce the Social Media Guidelines as defined by the brand 
  • Monitor, respond and engage in all social media channels, review platforms, general email inquiries and forums in a timely manner, including live events. 
  • Work with our Customer Support team to address and solve order requests in a timely manner as needed.
  • Serve as the point of escalation and ensure alerts are being properly addressed
  • Build deep working knowledge of our community and act as the primary community owner
  • Facilitate meaningful and authentic communication with our community – build a two-way conversation.
  • Meet with key stakeholders to resolve issues and work closely with brand manager to form responses for sensitive escalations or reviews.
  • Engage with owned and community posts across multiple social platforms (ie. liking/commenting on tagged posts, brand-related hashtag posts, etc.)
  • Monitor and track media topics and online conversations relevant to eCommerce, Fashion, apparel, licensed merch and Print on Demand community
  • Escalate online related issues to stakeholders to create Communication Responses and actively work with Product, Legal, sales and or Communications teams for approval
  • Manage communications with identified influencers when in partnership for social contests, send products to agencies or package products to send to giveaway winners.
  • Schedule and post relevant content in accordance with Content Calendar
  • Collect UGC content & work with Social writer to create UGC based Instagram Stories weekly
  • Report on weekly overall performance in weekly brainstorms during editorial reviews and assist Social Media specialist and Brand and Communications Manager with weekly reporting.

You should have:

  • 1+ years of experience managing social media communities
  • Knowledge of social platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Clubhouse, TikTok etc
  • Excellent copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to engage audiences
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced ambiguous environment
  • A high level of organization with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be both a self-starter and a team player
  • Familiarity with popular review and forum sites such as G2, Shopify, Reddit, Trustpilot and Google Business
  • Understanding of popular social networks – design, functionality, users
  • Proficiency in social listening tools
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC, Photoshop, Premier Pro, and other Adobe features
  • Exceptional communication skills within the team and cross functionally
  • Familiarity with Wordpress, Hubspot, Google Analytics and Co-schedule
  • Experience in eCommerce, technology or print on demand a plus
