Why We Need You

We are seeking a Solutions Marketing Manager to drive positioning, messaging and go-to-market activities across multiple use cases and industries. In this role, you will work closely with Marketing, Growth, Sales, Customer Success and Product Management to deepen our understanding of customer pain points, the solutions they are looking for and buyer behavior that drive purchasing decisions.

How You Impact our Vision

    • Become the subject matter expert across target verticals and emerging use cases, understanding market trends, customer challenges and key opportunities for PagerDuty 
    • Collaborate with Partner and Use Case Marketing team for core messaging and positioning around integrated solutions that will drive content creation 
    • Collaborate with Sales, Field Marketing and Growth teams to create campaigns and content to help meet pipeline and revenue goals, in particular webinars and landing pages
    • Develop thought leadership through blogs, white papers, commissioned research, industry and partner events and engagement with industry analysts
    • Identify and work with customers to develop compelling content for case studies and speaking opportunities

About You

    • Customer-centric mindset and ability to engage with business and technical audiences
    • Independent self-starter who is comfortable with ambiguity and developing programs from the ground up
    • Capable of both strategic planning and tactical execution
    • Understand industry terminology and be able to speak in the language of the customer
    • Fluent in translating technical capabilities into business value
    • Ability to quickly synthesize and organize information into actionable insights that can have wide business-impacting reach
    • Natural curiosity to dig deeper to understand market dynamics and customer motivations
    • Excellent written, presentation, storytelling and organizational skills
    • Ability to collaborate and work cross-functionally

Minimum Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in product marketing, solution marketing, industry marketing, and/or sales for SaaS technologies
    • Customer-facing experience speaking with developers, IT staff, and senior technical management roles
    • Content development for white papers, blogs, solution briefs, video scripts, infographics, webinars, presentation and other written assets


    • Working knowledge of agile and devops methodologies, ITIL, ITSM, and cloud technologies
    • Industry knowledge in retail, financial services, healthcare, and media
    • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience
