Sr. Associate, Analytics Implementation

Sr. Associate, Analytics Implementation

At Seer, we pride ourselves on innovation; standing out among the rest and enabling our clients to do the same. We're a Digital Marketing Agency powered by Big Data to drive integrated, holistic strategy for our clients. We get excited at the thought of bringing together millions of data points from disparate data sets (including qualitative!) to drive empathy-fueled opportunities and insights. Big Data, automation, and problem solving at scale: it's what's for breakfast. Could this be love? Maybe.

What about you? You, the Sr. Analytics Associate of our dreams, are the connective glue between business, data, and activation. You understand that, in order to design the right measurement strategy, you need to understand a client’s business goals and priorities and how the data we collect ladders up to measuring and optimizing performance. There’s no doubt that the work you do impacts an assortment of different stakeholders - in marketing, business strategy, developers and more - and you can make sure our approach to measurement fits them all.

Here are some highlights of what you'll be doing...

    • You’ll work closely with a handful of clients to ensure the success of analytics implementations on a variety of platforms. Because you’ve had exposure to Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics (and maybe even more), this is a cinch for you.
    • You will jump into existing implementations and help diagnose what’s broken using analytics platforms, tag managers, and developer tools and have some ideas about how to fix it. You may even have your favorite plug-ins to help get the job done.
    • You understand that each client is unique and comes with their own specific challenges—with that understanding, you’ll create custom dashboards and reporting to provide actionable recommendations meeting the needs of our various clients.
    • You will challenge the way companies measure their performance - going beyond sessions and conversions, you will recommend new tagging to help round out how to evaluate how strategies are moving the needle.

The Skills you'll bring to the table...

    • You don’t bat an eyelash when it comes to setting up custom Google Analytics Views, tracking techniques and filters—your GA skills are top notch. Google Tag Manager is your buddy, and you might just have a few Custom HTML tags that do some neat things in your back pocket.
    • You’ll correct anyone who tries to call you a developer, but HTML and Javascript don’t scare you one bit. You can read and interpret these and other basic programming languages with the best of ‘em.
    • We move fast and you’ll be juggling lots of priorities. You can keep yourself organized in a tool like Monday.com, understanding your workload across different projects and manage up when you’re faced with blockers or competing priorities. You’re comfortable managing your own deadlines and when things get a little crazy, you’re okay with asking for help.
    • You turn the snore of reporting with Excel tables into an opportunity to automate and visualize. Not only can you translate requirements into a Google Data Studio dashboard, but what’s really impressive is your ability to outline & deliver that content to clients and team members, adding a “so what?” factor to it.

Bonus Points...

    • Familiar with enterprise solutions other than GA [think: Adobe Analytics, Firebase, Amplitude, Heap, etc? Yes!!
    • Familiar with other tag management systems than Google Tag Manager. Adobe Launch? Tealium? Segment? Perfect.
    • Worked in a fast-paced, digital agency? Awesome.
    • Supported complex implementations like Closed Loop or Enhanced Ecommerce? Let’s talk.
