We are looking for a VP, Marketing Ops and Analytics that has a proven track record of developing, growing, and aligning high-performing operations and analytics teams in high-growth SaaS or similar software businesses. You are passionate about data, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and have the ability to flex between big picture thinking while also sweating the details. This person will lead multiple teams including Marketing Operations, Strategy and Planning, Marketing Analytics, and Program Management.

This is a Remote opportunity within Canada and the US.

What we're looking for:

    • 15+ years leadership in marketing operations, analytics, strategy, and planning, preferably with pre-IPO and/or public company experience.
    • Demonstrated experience building and leading high-performance operations and analytics teams that help drive business outcomes. Experience developing high-impact strategies to improve effectiveness and drive key metrics.
    • Highly analytical and data-driven, with proven ability to use a deep understanding of business metrics to drive outcomes.
    • Process-oriented, with the ability to simplify, automate, and improve team effectiveness through process improvements.
    • Demonstrated success operating in a cross-functional environment and delivering business outcomes.
    • Proficiency with tools such as Salesforce, Marketo, Looker, and Tableau a plus.
    • Prior experience in both high-velocity SMBs and enterprise environments is a strong plus.
    • Strong sense of ownership over annual and quarterly planning.
    • Strong sense of curiosity with a bias towards action.
    • Track record of building teams with world-class talent. A person who takes pride in building the future leaders of tomorrow.

What you can expect:

    • Marketing Operations:  Create, grow and manage a world-class global marketing operations function. Partner with sales, marketing, and finance organizations to help set and manage aggressive sales, retention, and customer experience goals while providing a high level of visibility into underlying driver metrics. Ensure robust measurement and executive reporting on key contributions to revenue growth. (pipeline, opportunities, etc.)
    • Strategy and Planning: Drive the marketing planning process, inclusive of quarterly and annual strategic planning, ensuring marketing’s goals are aligned with Product, Sales, and Engineering objectives. Partner with our Finance team to manage budget, inform investment strategy, and find new and improved ways for tracking, prioritizing, and measuring budget.
    • Marketing Analytics: Be the worldwide go-to person for all marketing data and insights, including understanding our customer segments, sales motions, and customer success metrics. Lead end-to-end marketing analytics starting from building the dashboards to providing meaningful insights and recommendations.
    • Program Management: Maintain the roadmap of all marketing initiatives, leveraging strong collaboration, prioritization, and project management skills. Lead the program management team to improve efficiency, communication, and employee happiness across the marketing organization.
