How this compares to real social media and community job posts
- The pay range above is the middle half of published salaries on 7 full-time social media and community posts on HeyMarketers in the last 12 months (median $133k). Posting a range gets more applicants, and several US states require it.
- Tools most often named: TikTok (23% of posts), Generative AI (17% of posts), Sprout Social (11% of posts). Only list the ones the job really uses.
- 44% of the 34 open social media and community roles right now are remote. Say clearly whether yours is remote, hybrid or on-site.
- Lead with outcomes the role owns. Candidates skim responsibilities and read what success looks like.
